design workshop, where Interiors designers, Kim Schroeder & Brennen Bilyk of Charisma

Design will walk you through the design process. We will then break into small groups

and offer personal design solutions for your project. Come with floor plans, samples

and questions.

AGE EXPLORER SUIT brought to by Richelieu Hardware

Today, kitchens last us at least 20 years; however, many people don’t consider what

their motion, utilization or ergonomics will be in the future when designing or purchasing

a kitchen. For many years now, Austrian Furniture Fittings Manufacturer Blum, has done

extensive research into the needs of kitchen users, including the elderly. Recently the

company has also used an age simulator called the AGE EXPLORER. A unique overall

type outfit with special stitching makes it difficult to straighten arms.

Lucy Traetto, CAPS Dynamic Space and Orga-Line Specialist for Blum Canada together

with Karen Zapp, BID Specifications Consultant for Richelieu Hardware in Winnipeg

will be demonstrating the AGE EXPLORER suit on the Lifestyle Presentation Stage this
